Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking an HR Advisor for a busy manufacturing site to support the Head of HR with advice, guidance and colleague support across the business.

The role emphasises employee relations, with responsibilities spanning grievances, investigations, performance management, disciplinaries, absence management and induction support. You will also advise managers, support reviews, and drive engagement through effective HR enquiry handling.

Qualifications

• Experience in a generalist HR role in a manufacturing environment.
• Real interest and passion for employee relations.
• Ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
• Highly organised and adaptable; able to manage a busy workload.
• Ideally CIPD qualified (Level 3+) or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Focus on employee relations including grievances, investigations, performance management and disciplinaries.
• Advising managers on best practice for fair, consistent HR processes.
• Supporting performance reviews and staff inductions.
• Handling general HR enquiries and improving communication and engagement across the business.

About the Role:

Based at a site employing over 1,000 people, as HR Advisor you'll be working with the Head of HR, providing advice, guidance and support to colleagues across the business.

It is a fast paced role, offering a lot of variety, and your responsibilities will include:

• A strong focus on employee relations, including grievances, investigations, performance management, disciplinaries, absence management etc.
• Advising managers on best practice to ensure a fair, consistent approach.
• Supporting performance review meetings and staff inductions.
• Handling general HR enquiries and working to improve communication and engagement across the business.

About You:

This role would suit an HR Advisor with experience of employee relations and we're keen to hear form anybody with the following skills and experience:

Experience of working in a generalist HR role in a manufacturing environment.

• Able to work with and influence colleagues at all levels.
• Highly organised and adaptable, able to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
