Description
Employee Relations & Business Partnering
- Provide practical HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance management cases.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Coach and support managers in applying HR policies, procedures and best practice.
- Manage complex employee relations cases with confidence and professionalism.
Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Lead end-to-end recruitment activities across Manufacturing Operations.
- Partner with operational leaders to identify workforce requirements and support future headcount planning.
- Help develop effective talent attraction strategies for skilled and technical roles.
- Support initiatives that improve employee retention and engagement.
Talent Development & Succession Planning
- Support the development of future leaders and key talent within the business.
- Contribute to succession planning initiatives and talent management programmes.
- Help drive performance and development processes that enable employees to achieve their full potential.
- Support leadership development, management training and early careers programmes.
Culture & Employee Engagement
- Champion a positive, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and employee forums.
- Gather and act upon employee feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Help strengthen the organisation's reputation as an employer of choice.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and remain compliant with employment legislation.
- Support the implementation of new HR initiatives, policies and projects.
- Monitor and mitigate people-related risks across the business.
- Promote best practice across HR, health and safety, and organisational compliance requirements.
Profile
We're looking for an HR professional who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role.
- Strong employee relations experience, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management.
- CIPD qualified (or equivalent).
- Degree educated or equivalent experience.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Resilient, adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from 40,000 to 42,000, dependent on the level of experience.
