Job summary

TN Talent Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting an experienced HR Advisor for a hands-on, office-based role in Derbyshire. You will support managers, handle day-to-day HR issues and own employee relations from start to finish.

The role requires strong knowledge of UK employment law, 3+ years in HR, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. CIPD Level 3 is desirable; driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' HR experience in an Advisor/Generalist role.
• Strong hands-on employee relations experience.
• Experience handling disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Full UK driving licence.
• CIPD Level 3+ desirable but not essential.
• Comfortable balancing HR best practice with operational needs.

HR Advisor

Location: Derbyshire

Salary: £35,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Permanent | Full-Time | Fully Office Based

We are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established logistics business in Derbyshire.

This is a hands-on role within a small HR team and would suit someone who is confident managing day-to-day HR issues, supporting managers and taking ownership of employee relations matters from start to finish.

The successful candidate will need to be proactive, organised and comfortable working within a fast-paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees
• Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance

• Coach and guide managers through HR processes and procedures

About You

We are ideally looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years' practical HR experience within an HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar role.

• Strong hands-on employee relations experience
• Experience managing disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
• Confidence advising and challenging managers when required
• Strong organisation and administration skills
• Experience using HR systems
• A full UK driving licence

CIPD Level 3 or above would be desirable but is not essential.

Practical HR experience is more important than qualifications alone, so we are particularly keen to speak with candidates who have a strong track record of managing day-to-day HR matters within the workplace.

This role would suit someone who can hit the ground running, is confident taking ownership and understands the importance of balancing HR best practice with operational business needs
