Job summary

Nigel Wright Recruitment is supporting a well-established, growing organisation in West Yorkshire with an exciting HR Generalist/HR Business Partner role. You will partner with senior stakeholders, provide pragmatic HR advice, and drive people initiatives across multiple sites.

The role is initially a 12-month FTC offering strong development opportunities and exposure to change programmes. Key focus areas include employee relations, recruitment planning, organisational design and workforce

Qualifications

• HR advisory or HR business partnering experience within a complex organisation.
• Strong employee relations knowledge with the confidence to coach and influence managers.
• Experience supporting organisational change and business transformation initiatives.
• Commercially aware with the ability to balance business needs with best practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide pragmatic, commercially focused HR advice and support across a broad range of people matters.
• Partner with managers and leaders to deliver effective people solutions aligned to business objectives.
• Coach and support managers on employee relations issues including absence management, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases.
• Advise on recruitment, organisational design and workforce planning activities.
• Support change programmes, restructures and wider people projects.
• Analyse people data and trends to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, including senior leadership teams.
• Work collaboratively with internal HR colleagues to ensure an outstanding employee experience.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, policies and practices

• Proven HR Advisory or HR Business Partnering experience within a complex organisation.
• Strong employee relations knowledge with the confidence to coach and influence managers.
• Experience supporting organisational change and business transformation initiatives.
• Commercially aware with the ability to balance business needs with best practice.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Previous experience within operational, engineering, manufacturing, logistics or unionised environments would be advantageous.
