HR Administrator - Learning & Development Focus

Location: Dagenham

Contract Type: Fixed Term (3-6 months)

Salary: £27, - £33, per annum (DOE)

Start date: Early January

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our team, with a strong focus on supporting Learning & Development initiatives.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent attention to detail, and is passionate about helping employees grow and develop.

As this is a fixed term contract starting in early January, prior experience in HR and L&D support is essential to ensure you can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with mandatory learning requirements.
  • Support the design and delivery of induction programmes and ongoing development initiatives.
  • Ensure e-learning is completed within set timescales to maintain compliance.
  • Arranging e-learning ‘drop-in’ sessions to facilitate front line operatives e-learning system access, as required.
  • Assist with monitoring training effectiveness and gathering feedback from participants.
  • Assist with development and roll‑out of L&D programmes, including scheduling training sessions, managing attendance, and coordinating logistics.
  • Prepare reports and updates on L&D activities for HR and management teams.
  • Provide wider HR administration support, including responding to first line HR queries, maintaining employee files, updating HRIS, and assisting with ad‑hoc projects.
About You
  • Previous experience in HR administration, ideally with exposure to Learning & Development and experience of LMS administration.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
  • Provide wider HR administration support, including first‑line HR queries, maintaining employee files, updating HRIS, and assisting with ad‑hoc projects.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive and solution focused approach.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Understanding of learning compliance requirements in a facilities management environment would be advantageous.
