Job summary

A global leader in engineering and construction is seeking an HR Administrator to support HR and General Services activities. You will assist with onboarding processes, prepare contracts, and conduct assessments. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR administration and be studying towards a CIPD qualification. This position is based in Kingston upon Thames and offers a salary of £16 - £18 per hour.

Position: HR Administrator
Location: Kingston upon Thames
Salary: £16ph - £18ph

ARM's Energy Division is working with a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects across the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore. We are seeking a HR Administrator to join their team.

Role Overview

As HR Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting both HR and General Services activities, contributing to the efficiency of our HR management processes. You will actively assist the HR administration and Recruitment Team Leader in daily tasks and develop new skills to become more autonomous.

Key Responsibilities
  • In line with the New Starters procedure, prepare Contracts of Employment for new employees and Exhibit A for agency workers.
  • Preparation of all new starter paperwork, files and arrangements ahead of the new starters first day, including room bookings and notifications issued in a timely fashion to all relevant departments.
  • Arrange pre-employment medical and reference checks for all new employees
  • Undertake maternity risk assessments with employees and agency workers as required and liaise with HR Advisors/HSE with any subsequent actions.
What We're Looking For

Experience: HR Admin activities in a busy working environment

Education: Studying towards a CIPD qualification

Technical knowledge: ability to prioritise work coming from a number of sources to meet all deadlines

IT knowledge: intermediate MS package
