Social Interest Group is seeking an Intensive Housing Management Officer to join our complex needs accommodation team on a fixed term basis in Romford. You will deliver housing management support to residents, focusing on sustaining tenancies, safety, health and financial independence.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to manage rent collections, tenancy issues, risk assessments and safeguarding referrals, promoting dignity, inclusion and community reintegration while maintaining high

Qualifikationen

• Experience coordinating activities for people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience with people of complex backgrounds and sector knowledge.
• Knowledge of risk management and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of license conditions and public protection.
• Knowledge of tenancy management and sharing knowledge with a team.
• Understanding housing and social needs of people with multiple and complex needs.
• IT skills at intermediate level, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to build relationships.
• Ability to influence, negotiate and make proactive decisions.
• Flexibility to adapt working patterns to service needs.

Aufgaben

• Assist the management team in managing rent/charge collections, arrears, voids, and issuing warnings as necessary.
• Carry out regular occupancy checks.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance issues are reported and managed through to completion.
• Enhance personal safety, health, and security through meaningful social interactions.

• Supporting residents to sustain their tenancies and achieve financial independence.
• Work with the wider team to support residents with their long term needs.
• Promoting economic wellbeing and helping residents reintegrate into the community.
• Complete safeguarding and other referrals where required.
• Other duties may include but is not limited to; maintain clean and tidy environments, removing rubbish, reporting repairs, ordering supplies, and other general duties.
