Job summary

Solo Housing (East Anglia) is seeking an organised and compassionate housing professional to deliver management services and tailored support to residents across East Anglia. You will manage a varied caseload, conduct welfare checks, and work with local authorities and partners to secure settled, independent living for individuals at risk of homelessness.

The role requires experience in housing management, strong organisational and communication skills, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering housing management and support services within a social housing or support setting.
• Be highly organised, able to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders.
• Have experience supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Deliver housing management services to residents living in Solo Housing properties.
• Provide person-centred support to help individuals maintain their accommodation and achieve positive outcomes.
• Work with people experiencing homelessness or complex life challenges to improve their independence.
• Ensure compliance with housing policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Carry out regular resident visits, support planning, and welfare checks.
• Manage cases effectively, maintaining accurate records and reports on internal systems.
• Work closely with local authorities, landlords, and partner agencies to deliver effective support.
• Maximise rental income through effective tenancy and arrears management.
• Support residents to move on successfully into long-term, settled accommodation.
