Job summary

Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking an Accommodation Support Officer to join the Homelessness Service Team in Penrith. You will deliver housing-related support to individuals in temporary accommodation, empower customers, and work with partners to provide comprehensive homelessness services.

The ideal candidate has experience with homelessness or related fields, a flexible, solution-focused approach, and strong organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with homeless or socially excluded people.
• Experience working in housing services or in partnership with statutory and non-statutory agencies is advantageous.
• Flexible and solution-focused attitude to work.

• Deliver housing-related support to individuals in temporary accommodation.
