Job summary

Riverside is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Wilson Carlile House, Ardwick, Greater Manchester. This role provides housing-related support to individuals experiencing homelessness and complex needs, including risk assessments, budgeting help and signposting to external services.

You will maintain records, help customers move towards independence, and collaborate with partners to create move-on plans while delivering compassionate, resilient support in a busy, sometimes

Qualifications

• Understanding barriers faced by vulnerable and diverse customer groups and individuals with complex needs.
• Experience delivering structured support and risk management.
• Be a team player with a caring, empathetic, flexible and resilient can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Leading on Co-producing bespoke support and move-on plans with key stakeholders.
• Organising regular reviews of support and risk plans.
• Engaging customers to meet outcomes and develop life skills.
• Assisting customers with day-to-day support and tenancy matters.
• Identifying opportunities for employment, education and training and removing barriers.
