Job summary

Riverside is seeking a Support Assistant to help run one of our supported housing services. The role prioritises safety and wellbeing, with duties from logging incidents to preparing rooms for new occupants.

This is a full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week position based in Arlington, Camden. You will support customers with varied needs, coordinate with GP services, Social Services and benefits teams, and contribute to a clean, safe living environment while maintaining accurate records and

Qualifications

• Experience of working with people in a customer facing environment.
• Understanding of supporting vulnerable people – including lived experience of homelessness or addiction.
• Basic administrative and IT skills and attention to detail to maintain records and in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering personalised support and move-on plans.
• Log incidents and maintain accurate records.
• Support customers to access employment, education and training opportunities.
• Contribute to housing management tasks including income collection and tenancy-related support.
• Keep customer rooms clean and prepared for new occupants.
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety procedures and escalate where needed.
• Provide day-to-day admin and operational support.
