Job summary

Riverside Group in Cambridge is recruiting a Support Worker to assist customers with housing-related needs and life skills. You will connect clients to employability coaches and benefits, manage records, and support transitions to stable housing.

The role requires resilience, empathy, and flexibility to cover shifts, including some evenings/weekends as needed. We focus on person-centred, outcomes-driven support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable people.
• Experience delivering structured support and risk management.
• Ability to work as part of a team with empathy and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Lead on co-produced bespoke support and move-on plans with stakeholders.
• Organise regular reviews of support and risk plans.
• Engage customers to achieve outcomes and lifespan skills.
• Assist with day-to-day support and tenancy matters.
• Identify opportunities for employment, education and training.
• Signpost to external support services and community resources.
• Support customers to be tenancy-ready and financially independent.
