Job summary

Riverside is seeking a Support Worker in Gloucester to provide structured support to customers at our supported services. You will assist with employability, budgeting, benefits and housing moves, while maintaining thorough records and safeguarding where needed.

We value empathetic, resilient team players who can work flexibly, including lone working, and travel between properties as required to deliver a comprehensive housing and support service.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable people.
• Experience delivering structured support and risk management.
• Team player with a caring, empathetic and resilient, can-do attitude.
• Understanding of supporting vulnerable people (lived experience welcomed).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including lone working.

Responsibilities

• Work from Riverside's supported services to assist customers with employability, money management, benefits and housing moves.
• Maintain records and admin related to customers and support plans.
• Engage customers to achieve outcomes and develop life skills.
• Support customers to be tenancy-ready and financially independent.
• Lead on group work and support initiatives while following safeguarding procedures.
• Carry out day-to-day administration and operational duties.
• Travel to different properties within the defined area as required.
