Anti-social Behaviour Resolution Specialist

An exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to manage complex ASB cases, supporting communities and residents while ensuring legal compliance and excellent service delivery.

If you’ve also worked in the following roles, we’d also like to hear from you: ASB Investigator, Neighbourhood Officer, Tenancy Enforcement Officer, Community Safety Advisor, Anti-social Behaviour Officer, ASB Case Manager, Community Safety Specialist, Police Officer, PCSO / Police Community Support Officer or if you’ve been involved in investigating complex cases (ideally ABS) or managed ASB cases within the Housing Sector or Local Authority Setting.

SALARY: £34,800 to £36,631 per annum + Generous Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: Hybrid working partly from the office in Staines, Surrey (TW18) and partly from home

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Driving Licence: Full clean UK driving licence and own vehicle is essential for this role.

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Anti-social Behaviour Resolution Specialist with experience in case management, tenancy enforcement and supporting residents across multiple tenures.

As an Anti-social Behaviour Resolution Specialist you will take ownership of complex ASB cases, applying strong communication and problem-solving skills to achieve positive outcomes for communities.

The Anti-social Behaviour Resolution Specialist will work collaboratively with internal colleagues, external agencies and the legal team to ensure fair resolutions and maintain safe neighbourhoods.

DUTIES
  • Manage Complex Cases: Handle high-level ASB cases from start to resolution across all housing tenures
  • Interpret Tenancy Agreements: Apply knowledge of leases and legislation to ensure correct case handling
  • Prepare Legal Documentation: Draft and serve Notices Seeking Possession and prepare witness statements
  • Court Representation: Work with the in-house legal team and represent the organisation in court proceedings
  • Mediation: Undertake mediation training or use existing qualification to resolve disputes between parties
  • Multi-Agency Liaison: Attend ASB meetings with local authorities, police and other agencies to support case management
  • Victim & Perpetrator Support: Provide advice, referrals and ongoing support to all parties involved
  • Community Safety Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with external stakeholders to promote safer neighbourhoods
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Full clean UK driving licence and own vehicle
  • Experience of managing ASB or housing management in a private or public housing sector
  • Experience of drafting court and legal paperwork, and representation at court
  • Experience of adopting a continuous improvement approach and adapting to change
  • Outstanding communication skills with residents and internal stakeholders across the business
  • Knowledge of current housing and ASB legislation and up to date case law
  • Ability to plan and monitor workload and cases
  • Ability to analyse information in order to draw logical conclusions
  • Has (or willing to study for) CIH Membership or equivalent suitable qualification
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A*-C)

This role requires an Enhanced DBS check.
