A not-for-profit housing association in Maidstone is seeking a Housing Officer for their Independent Living team. This temporary position requires managing a team and ensuring compliance in housing services. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in tenure management, strong analytical and communication skills, and a valid driving licence as travel is necessary. This role offers a salary of £34,531 per year based on 37.5 hours weekly, and several benefits including annual leave and employee support programs.

We are seeking a Housing Officer to join our Independent Living team that is part of the East and Southeast Region on a 6 month temporary basis. You will be working in a team of 5 Housing officers and managing a team of Scheme Managers.
This is a varied opportunity that will see you managing a range of situations and helping to build key relationships between Sanctuary Housing and our tenants. You will have excellent negotiating skills and a flexible approach to working, as you will be required to attend some evening meetings. You will also be expected to work in a professional manner to resolve problems and improve services.
