We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established support housing charity. They are looking to bring in a Housing Manager to be responsible for leading and managing the Housing Team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused tenancy management services for the service users and their families. Under the guidance of the Head of Housing, the role ensures strong tenant engagement, effective performance monitoring, and compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm

Contract: Permanent

Key duties
  • Lead and manage the Housing Team to deliver high-quality, customer-focused tenancy services
  • Oversee lettings, allocations, voids, and waiting lists in line with policy and performance targets
  • Manage tenancy matters including rent arrears, anti-social behaviour, and legal enforcement
  • Ensure properties, estates, and communal areas meet health, safety, and compliance standards
  • Lead on housing-related health and safety, risk assessments, and emergency planning
  • Manage housing budgets, service charges, and income performance in collaboration with Finance
  • Promote tenant engagement, participation, and resident involvement initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to support tenant independence
  • Maintain accurate housing records, data, and IT systems, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Drive service improvement, performance monitoring, and adherence to equality and diversity principles
