A recruitment agency is seeking a Housing Case Investigator for an initial 3-month contract in Birmingham. You will investigate unlicensed properties and manage complex enforcement cases, alongside mentoring junior staff. Overview

Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting a Housing Case Investigator for our client - Private Rented Sector (3-Month initial contract).

Location: Onsite in Birmingham (3 days/week) + Remote (2 days/week). Contract: Initial 3 months. Clearance: Basic DBS required.

Responsibilities
  • Investigate unlicensed properties and lead on complex enforcement cases
  • Conduct inspections and manage enforcement action, including issuing Civil Penalties and legal proceedings
  • Tackle anti-social behaviour linked to privately rented properties through multi-agency working
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous service improvement
