Job summary

Karbon Homes is seeking a Housing Assistant to join the North team in Greengates on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027. The role covers admin duties, invoice processing, and handling inquiries related to garage sites and furniture services, with travel expected.

The candidate should have strong communication skills, the ability to plan and meet deadlines, and be comfortable working alone in communities and tenants' homes. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to plan and prioritise workload.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and carry out lone working in the community and in tenants' homes.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide an efficient administrative service including maintenance of records, mail merges and processing invoices.
• Deal with general customer enquiries and manage garage site allocations, sign ups and furniture service enquiries.
• Support colleagues with home visits, scheme/estate inspections and anti-social behaviour cases and participate in community events.
