Job summary

Red Dot Search UK Limited is recruiting a Household Claims Handler for a Bolton site. You will manage a personal caseload of household claims from first notification through to settlement (escape of water, storm, accidental damage, theft, buildings and contents).

The role is on site five days a week, 35 hours, 9am–5pm, with strong customer service and fraud awareness. Salary up to 28,000 with funded CII qualifications and a pension.

Qualifications

• Household claims experience preferred, ~12 months minimum.
• Strong on-the-phone communication and customer service.
• GCSEs in English and Maths (C/4 or above).

Responsibilities

• Run own caseload of household claims from notification to settlement (escape of water, storm, damage, theft, buildings/contents).
• Check policy cover and gather information to move claims forward.
• Appoint and manage suppliers on behalf of the policyholder.
• Keep customers updated clearly and honestly throughout.
• Spot and refer potential fraud.
