Red Dot Search is recruiting a Trainee Claims Handler for the home insurance claims team in Bolton. The role offers full training, funded qualifications with the CII, and a clear path up the claims grades. You'll work 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with no evenings or weekends.

No prior claims experience is required; you will learn on the job and gain a professional qualification while you work, with on-site parking and a supportive team environment in a FCA-regulated business.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in any sector.
• Calm and clear on the phone, even under pressure.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
• Full driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Take home insurance claims on first contact.
• Check policy coverage and gather what’s needed to move the claim.
• Coordinate trades and suppliers to fix the issue.
• Keep customers updated clearly until settlement.
• Spot anomalies and refer if something seems off.
