Our Hotel F&B Manager

As Hotel F&B Manager, you will lead all hotel-based Food & Beverage operations at The Newt in Somerset, including the Botanical Rooms Restaurant, Farmyard Kitchen, Hadspen Bar and associated outlets. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will inspire teams, champion estate-grown produce and deliver exceptional guest experiences that reflect our commitment to craftsmanship, hospitality and seasonality. You will drive operational excellence, nurture talent and ensure our dining experiences are as memorable as they are meaningful.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, inspire and support all hotel F&B teams, fostering a positive, high-performing culture
  • Recruit, train and develop team members with a focus on capability, motivation and succession
  • Implement clear standards, systems and structures across all outlets
  • Promote a learning environment where teams grow, innovate and embrace change
  • Collaborate closely with culinary and beverage teams to deliver seasonal, estate-led menus
  • Ensure all outlets reflect the Hotel’s identity and sustainability philosophy
  • Oversee budgets, forecasting, labour planning and purchasing
  • Ensure exceptional service standards while meeting financial targets
