Our campuses and centres are located within historic towns and villages, set amongst the shorelines, mountains, and moors, with local staff working across our region to support our students and communities.

Position

We are seeking a Horse Care Flexi Coordinator to be based at any of our North, West and Hebrides campuses or home-based with travel to flexi premises.

Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for the operation and development of the Horse Care Flexible Study Programme. This is an exciting new role developed to ensure the programme runs smoothly and supports delivery of an excellent student experience, high learner satisfaction and successful student outcomes. The co‑ordinator will report to the curriculum manager, and will undertake a range of quality assurance, staff support, process management/development and administrative duties associated with the horse care flexible studies programme. The co‑ordinator will work very closely with the equine flexi tutors and will liaise with all other equine staff and support departments within UHI North, West and Hebrides to support and develop the programme.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

The suitable candidate will hold a qualification in Equine Studies at SCQF level 7, such as HNC or equivalent and above (consideration may be given to other related qualifications. With three years of experience and evidenced practice in working in an equine environment and effective and efficient use of Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

Salary

£30,280 - £32,043 per annum

Location

Any NWH campus or Home based with travel to flexi premises across the Highlands and Islands

Working Hours

35 hours, Fixed term for 2 years
