Job summary

St Mungo's Kensington and Chelsea Rough Sleeper Navigator role supports a fixed cohort of identified rough sleepers, providing bespoke case work to sustain accommodation and prevent homelessness. The post is a 12 month fixed term contract (secondment for internal applicants) and involves multi-disciplinary teamwork across London.

The Navigator will build relationships with authorities and housing providers, connect clients with health care, training, and other services, and lead complex cases

Qualifications

• Commitment and understanding around homelessness issues and access to services.
• Ability to work in a trauma-informed, professional manner with clear boundaries.
• Influencing and networking skills to coordinate multi-disciplinary support.
• Strong communication to build relationships quickly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, homeless services, and housing providers.
• Provide client-centred support to access health care, work and training opportunities.
• Lead complex cases, develop action plans, and influence partner agencies to achieve outcomes.
