Every team member understands that residents are people with their own stories. By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will take responsibility for the well-being of our Residents, including ensuring their emotional and social needs are met. You will lead, motivate, and mentor your team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the care home. This includes developing, implementing, and evaluating individualised care plans for each Resident. You will monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies, and legislation. You will promote Residents’ independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the very best standards of care and striving for continuous improvement. You will lead provision through effective leadership and home management, ensuring we have the best people on-site, delivering an empathic service. You will champion Resident wellbeing, establish a vision and development plan for the home, and carry out quality assurance monitoring to meet and exceed regulatory standards, always with kindness at the core.

About You

Requirements: You are a care home experienced manager with strong leadership skills and experience with multidisciplinary teams and conducting risk assessments. You will either have a Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5, or be willing to study for one. Above all, you communicate with residents and co-workers with genuine consideration and kindness.

Safeguarding: Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should recognise signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
