Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is hiring Installation Trainees to train as home installation specialists and join a two-person delivery crew to install furniture, large appliances, and TVs at customers' homes. You'll drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle, perform heavy lifting, and deliver with excellent customer service while learning product installation and safety procedures.

This full-time role requires 18+, may involve DBS checks, and offers varied hours across 41 hours per week, Monday to Saturday,

Qualifications

Holding a Manual C1 UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
DCPC (Driver CPC) or Driver Qualification Card by day one.
Tachograph Card required.
Previous experience driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Good understanding of technology.
Desirable: installation and disconnection of white goods.
Desirable: TV installation.
Desirable: assembly of a flat pack.
