Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division across the UK. You’ll perform expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support, often starting and finishing at home, with 40-hour weeks and possible overtime.

With a Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years' post-qualification experience, you will receive a base salary of £41,600 (incl.

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years' post-qualification technical experience.
• Customer-focused approach and full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadside mechanical repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and implement quick, reliable solutions for members.
• Start and finish shifts from home, with a provided RAC van and tools.
