Job summary

Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician. You will perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing from home.

You will operate with your own RAC van, fuel card, and provided diagnostic kit, delivering quick, confident solutions and excellent member service. Role requires Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, plus a full UK licence

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Tackle calls efficiently and provide confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members
• Start and end your day at home with a RAC van, fuel card, and diagnostic kit supplied
