Job summary

Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician. You’ll perform diagnostic work and on‑site repairs, starting and finishing from home, with a RAC van, tools, and full uniform provided. The role requires NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and 2+ years’ experience, plus a clean UK driving licence.

You’ll work ~40 hours weekly with potential overtime and generous benefits, including pension, life cover, and exclusive staff discounts. The RAC has a long heritage and serves over 15 million members.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
