Job summary

RAC in the United Kingdom is hiring a Roadside Technician for the Patrol division. You will diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and support members during breakdowns, with a daily route that starts and ends at home.

You'll wear the RAC van and use diagnostic tools provided to deliver fast, confident service across the UK. The role requires a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years' experience, plus a full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Offer emergency breakdown support across the UK.
