Job summary

A leading international manufacturer is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team in South West England. This home-based role involves servicing, repairing, and maintaining truck mounted cranes, alongside conducting inspections and diagnostics on various systems. Ideal candidates should have relevant experience and qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering. The position offers a competitive salary of £42,000 - £48,000, plus overtime and a comprehensive benefits package including training and career progression.

Qualifications

  • Must have a background working on lorry loader cranes.
  • Hold an NVQ or City & Guilds in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (desirable).
  • Hold an ALLMI certificate to operate and examine preferably.
  • Full UK driving license required.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out all service, repair and maintenance work on a range of truck mounted cranes.
  • Carry out LOLER tests and inspections on all products.
  • Carry out fault finding and diagnostic testing on all systems.
  • Manage own workload and work independently.
