Job summary

Speedy Group is the UK's leading hire provider of tools, plant and support services. We are seeking a Hire Controller based at the depot to manage the full hire process, from order to delivery, and to build strong customer relationships.

On a day-to-day basis you’ll work desk-based with other departments, coordinating with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure timely fulfilment and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written.
• Commitment to learn and develop.
• Driving license.
• Experience in the hire industry or similar sales/operational role.
• Ability to support the ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with all depot parts to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Work with stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimise delays and ensure available equipment.
