Job summary

Speedy is seeking a Hire Controller in Basildon to join our depot operations. You will coordinate the full hire process from order to delivery and collection, ensuring excellent customer service and timely fulfilment.

The role is desk-based and involves regular liaison with stock teams, drivers and engineers. Candidates should have strong organisational and communication skills, plus a driving licence and relevant hire industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with depot teams to ensure customer needs are met and service is delivered.
• Work desk-based while coordinating with stock teams, drivers and engineers to minimise delays.
• Support the business unit with ESG initiatives and continuous improvement.
