Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in Grangemouth is seeking a Hire Controller to manage the end-to-end hire process, from taking orders to delivery and collection, ensuring customers are satisfied with our service.

Based in the depot, you will work Monday to Friday, 07:30–17:00, coordinating with stock teams, drivers and engineers to keep equipment readily available and minimise delays in fulfilling customer needs.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and effective communication, both written and spoken.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn and develop.
• Driving licence is required.
• Experience in hire industry or similar sales/operational role preferred.
• Ability to support your unit to deliver ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the entire hire process from order to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with depot teams to meet customer needs and service levels.
• Work desk-based, coordinating with stock, drivers and engineers to minimise delays.
