Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc. is seeking a Hire Controller in Ossett to coordinate the end-to-end hire process from order intake to delivery and collection. Working with depot teams, stock, drivers and engineers, you will ensure customer needs are met with efficient service and strong relationship management.

You will be desk-based, liaising with multiple departments to minimise delays and maintain high customer satisfaction while supporting sales and ESG objectives within the business unit.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and environments.
• Commitment to learn and develop within the role.
• Valid driving license required.
• Previous experience in hire or similar sales/operational role.
• Ability to support ESG initiatives within the business unit.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the entire hire process from order to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with depot teams, stock, drivers and engineers to fulfil customer needs.
• Provide frontline customer service and sales support to maximise customer satisfaction.
