Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc. is seeking a Hire Controller in Basildon to lead the hire process from order intake to delivery and collection.

You will work at the depot to coordinate with stock teams, drivers and engineers, ensuring customer needs are met with minimal delays and high service levels. You will join a frontline sales and customer service team, building strong relationships with customers while managing daily desk-based activities and cross-department coordination to drive satisfaction and ESG

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
• Adaptability and a willingness to learn and develop.
• A valid driving license is required.
• Previous experience in the hire industry or a similar sales/operational role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the entire hire process from taking orders to delivery and collection.
• Work from the depot, interfacing with stock, drivers and engineers to meet customer needs.
• Liaise with multiple departments to ensure on-time fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
