Speedy Hire PLC in Basildon is seeking a Hire Controller to drive the end-to-end hire process, from taking orders through to delivery and collection, liaising with the depot and drivers to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn and develop.
• Driving licence is required.
• Previous experience in hire industry or similar sales/operational role.
• Ability to support ESG Strategy delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end hire process from order to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with depot, stock teams, drivers and engineers to meet customer needs.
• Work desk-based and collaborate with other departments to ensure timely service delivery.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support sales and service excellence.
