Job summary

Speedy Hire, the UK’s leading hire provider, is looking for a Hire Controller in Aberdeen on a fixed-term 6-month contract. You’ll manage the end-to-end hire process from order to delivery and collection, coordinating with depot teams to meet customer needs.

The role is desk-based, involves liaising with stock, drivers and engineers, and requires strong organisation, communication skills and a driving licence. Previous hire industry or sales/operational experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn.
• Driving licence required.
• Experience in hire industry or similar sales/operational role beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the full hire process from order receipt to delivery and collection with depot teams.
• Liaise daily with stock, drivers and engineers to minimise delays and meet customer needs.
• Work on a desk-based role with cross-department collaboration to support sales and customer service.
