Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in the UK is inviting applications for a Hire Controller based at our Bury St Edmunds depot. You will coordinate the entire hire process from order intake to delivery and collection, ensuring we meet customer needs with exceptional service.

This desk-based role requires strong organisation, clear communication, and a proactive approach to liaising with stock, drivers and engineers. A driving licence and prior hire industry experience are advantageous for success.

• Previous experience in hire industry or related sales/operations role.
• Support business unit to deliver ESG strategy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the hire process from order to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with depot teams to meet customer needs and service expectations.
• Work desk-based and collaborate with stock, drivers and engineers to minimise delays.
