Job summary

Acton-based Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Hire Controller to join a busy plant and tool hire operation. You will manage hire enquiries, bookings and off-hires, process contracts and documentation, and coordinate deliveries with workshop and transport teams.

This role demands a proactive communicator with 2+ years in plant/tool hire, a full UK driving licence and the ability to support loading/unloading when required. Salary starts at £46,000+ per year.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in plant hire, tool hire or equipment rental.
• Previous hire desk/hire controller experience.
• Good knowledge of the hire process, transport and fleet scheduling.
• Full UK Category B manual driving licence.
• Physically fit and comfortable assisting with loading/unloading.
• Polish or Ukrainian language skills advantageous (optional).

Requirements

• 2+ years' experience within plant hire, tool hire or equipment rental
• Previous hire desk/hire controller experience
• Syrinx experience highly desirable
• Good knowledge of the hire process, transport and fleet scheduling
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• Full UK Category B manual driving licence essential
• Physically fit and comfortable assisting with loading/unloading
• Polish or Ukrainian language skills advantageous

Salary & Benefits

• £46,000+ per year
• Monday-Friday, 6am-5pm
• Minimum 2 Saturdays per month, 6am-1pm
