A primary education provider in Hull is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support teaching in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have HLTA status and experience with children in primary settings. Responsibilities include delivering learning activities and promoting self-reliance among pupils. HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT
BROADACRE PRIMARY SCHOOL
Grade & Scale point: 8, SCP 25-28
Salary: £36,363 - £39,152 FTE, £25,666 - £27,635 Actual, £18.85- £20.29/hr
Hours of work: 30 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8.45am – 3.15pm
Contract: Fixed term until 31 August 2026, Term time + 5 days (195 days/year)
Start date: ASAP following pre-employment checks
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with children within a primary / special school setting. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HLTA who is an effective classroom practitioner. Ideally, they will be a dynamic and highly motivated team player who is ready for the next stage in their career. With a proven track record of supporting and enhancing the quality of teaching and improving outcomes for pupils, they will be an excellent role model for staff and children.
