Higher Construction Apprentice Trainer

We re looking for an experienced trainer/assessor or industry professional to become a hands-on Apprentice Trainer in Civil Engineering/Higher construction, guiding future talent directly on-site and in real-world settings. With a competitive salary of up to £48,785, a potential £8k relocation package and 40 days holiday, this is an opportunity to pass on your expertise, stay connected to the field you love, and make a real impact without ever touching the classroom.

There is no classroom teaching responsibility with this role, but they will be required to address groups of students and have a structured approach to providing clear and accurate instructions

Location: Maidstone, Kent (with travel across Kent, some Sussex, Essex and London)
Hours: 8:30am 5:00pm (some flexibility; limited home working by agreement)
Contract: Full-time (caseload of approx. 40 apprentices; pro rata for fractional roles)

About the Role

We are seeking a Higher Construction Apprentice Trainer to support the professional development of apprentices across Levels 4 6 in Construction and Civil Engineering. This role is focused on guiding apprentices, liaising with employers, and ensuring compliance with apprenticeship standards without classroom teaching responsibilities.

Person Specification

Education/Assessment Experience
