A reputable educational staffing agency in Corby is seeking a High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for primary schools. The ideal candidate will support teaching and learning, covering lessons and delivering interventions to help raise attainment across Key Stage 1 and 2. About the Role:
As a HLTA, you’ll play a key role in supporting teaching and learning – delivering interventions, covering lessons, and helping to raise attainment across Key Stage 1 and 2. You'll work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support pupils both in groups and on a 1:1 basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver planned lessons in the teacher’s absence
Lead small group interventions across core subjects
Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN and EAL
Contribute to planning and assessment alongside teachers
Requirements:
HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
Confident leading whole-class learning when required
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A positive, can-do attitude and passion for education
