Overview

Do you want to make a difference? Do you want to help improve people's wellbeing and quality of life? If the answer is yes then you will find working with NHS Northamptonshire Talking Therapies hugely rewarding. We are looking for high intensity therapists to join our service on a fixed‑term contract basis, covering both our North and South locality teams.

Responsibilities

You will work with patients with depression and anxiety problems. A large part of your role will be to assess a patient's suitability for evidence‑based psychological interventions, formulate and implement treatment, and evaluate progress.

You will practice Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and you must either be formally trained or be eligible to apply for professional accreditation from the relevant professional body.

We are committed to providing regular supervision and continuing professional development to support your work. We are a friendly, supportive team with a focus on promoting both the wellbeing of staff and patients.

Qualifications and Experience

You will have experience of working with people with mental health conditions and will need to use a range of clinical, organisational and leadership skills on a daily basis.
