Job Overview

Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter / Mechanic / Technician living in the Shepton Mallet area looking for a workshop based role? Are you looking for a Monday to Friday shift? Working between 6am and 6pm 45 hours per week Salary : up to £47,000 d.o.e plus overtime Permanent, Full Time position

Role

You will be working on a variety of tractor and trailer units of differing makes and models, RCV's, refuse vehicles, gritters and sweepers.

Responsibilities

• Routine (and preventative) maintenance
• MOT preparation
• Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards 6 (or 8) weekly inspections
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections

Qualifications

• Fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent
• Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable but not essential
