HGV Technician – Location: Aberdeen – Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM – Salary: Up to £20.67 per hour / £45,680 per year

Our client operates a cutting-edge fleet of HGVs and specialist vehicles and is renowned for delivering industry-leading training and long-term career development. Due to continued business growth, they are now looking to add a night shift HGV Technician to their expert team in Aberdeen.

About the HGV Technician Role

As a HGV Technician, you\'ll play a key role in ensuring fleet reliability, safety, and performance. Working with well-known brands including Mercedes, Iveco, and Ford, your day-to-day will include:

  • Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of HGVs and specialist vehicles
  • Conducting safety inspections and preparing vehicles for MOT
  • Ensuring all work meets DVSA and manufacturer standards
What we are looking for in the successful HGV Technician
  • NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with HGVs or commercial vehicles
  • Class 1 or Class 2 licence
