The ideal candidate will be fully qualified with a City & Guilds or NVQ background, possessing a solid understanding of modern haulage vehicles. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified HGV Mechanic with City & Guilds / NVQ.
• Able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Have knowledge of modern haulage vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle inspections.
• General servicing and pre-planned maintenance.
• Reactive maintenance as required.
• MOT preparation / Presentation.
• Correction of running defects.

About The Role

Working in a team of highly skilled and experienced HGV Mechanic on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles, the successful HGV Mechanic will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair.
