Job summary

Lanes Group plc is recruiting for an HGV Operator (Drainage) at our Chester depot. You will work in a small two-person team operating high-specification jetting and vacuumation units, with full training provided.

The role involves jetting to clear blockages, liaising with customers, and updating electronic records. You will ensure safety is maintained, perform vehicle and equipment checks, and report any safety issues.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 3 penalty points preferred.
• CPC desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes and other wastewater systems.
• Work as part of a two-person jetting team and liaise with customers.
• Update electronic records accurately.
• Raise safety issues and report them as required.
• Carry out vehicle and jetting equipment checks.

• Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks We are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV JetVac Engineer to join our Depot based in Chester. This role involves identifying defects and blockages within the sewer network and using high pressure water jetting to clean and clear., HGV Class 2 licence, with no more than 3 penalty points ideally
• A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable
