Job summary

The Lanes Group plc is looking for an HGV Operator (Drainage) at our Manchester depot. You will work in a small team to operate high specification jetting and vacuumation units, with full training provided.

You will drive HGV Class 2 vehicles and use high-pressure water jetting to clear blockages in drains and sewer networks, while keeping accurate electronic records and reporting safety issues. CPC is desirable and CSCS would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence with up to 6 penalty points ideally.
• CPC desirable; CSCS would be advantageous.
• Depot-based role in Manchester with full training provided.
• Role involves operating jetting equipment and liaising with customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean blockages.
• Work in a small team of two to operate jetting and vacuumation units.
• Liaise with customers and update electronic records.
• Report safety issues and perform vehicle/equipment checks.
• Identify defects and blockages in sewer networks.

As a HGV Operator (Drainage), you will:

• You will be working closely in a team of 2 operating high specification jetting and vacuumation units - full training will be provided
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems - full training will be provided
• Liaising with customers.
• Updating electronical records.
• Ensuring safety issues are reported.
• Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks
  We are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Operator (Drainage) to join our Depot based in Manchester. This role involves identifying defects and blockages within the sewer network and using high pressure water jetting to clean and clear., HGV Class 2 licence, with no more than 6 penalty points ideally
• A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable
• An in date CSCS would be advantageous - however this could be obtained if necessary
