Job summary

The Lanes Group are seeking a skilled HGV Operator (Drainage) to join our depot in Sheffield. Salary up to £16.00 per hour, with 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday. We provide full training and generous benefits including overtime, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance, auto-enrolment pension and free on-site parking.

You will operate high-pressure water jetting units, identify defects in the sewer network, and liaise with customers while maintaining records and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 3 penalty points ideally.
• CPC desirable.
• CSCS would be advantageous – however this could be obtained if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.
• Work closely in a team of two operating jetting and vacuumation units – full training provided.
• Liaise with customers and update electronic records.
• Ensure safety issues are reported and carry out vehicle and jetting equipment checks.

As a HGV Operator (Drainage), you will:

• You will be working closely in a team of 2 operating high specification jetting and vacuumation units - full training will be provided
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems - full training will be provided
• Liaising with customers.
• Updating electronical records.
• Ensuring safety issues are reported.
• Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks

Experience and qualifications required for the role:

• HGV Class 2 licence, with no more than 3 penalty points ideally
• A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable
• An in date CSCS would be advantageous – however this could be obtained if necessary
