Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking a skilled HGV JetVac Engineer for their Depot in Chester. This role involves using high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear blockages in the sewer network. Full training will be provided, and you will work closely with a team to ensure safety and efficiency.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of £14.25, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, and enhanced overtime rates. Candidates must possess an HGV Class 2 licence.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence required, with no more than 3 penalty points ideally.
• A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable.
• An in-date CSCS is advantageous but can be obtained if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean blockages in drains and sewers.
• Work within a team of 2, full training provided.
• Liaise with customers and update electronic records.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV JetVac Engineer to join our Depot based in Chester. This role involves identifying defects and blockages within the sewer network and using high pressure water jetting to clean and clear.

About The Role

• Location: Chester
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• Salary: £14.25 per hour

Responsibilities

• You will be working closely in a team of 2 operating high specification jetting and vacuumation units – full training will be provided
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems – full training will be provided
• Liaising with customers
• Updating electronic records
• Ensuring safety issues are reported
• Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks

Qualifications Required

• HGV Class 2 licence, with no more than 3 penalty points ideally
